Reconstructions – NFI/NAi

Inaugural exhibtion of the Nederlands Foto Instituut (now Nederlands Fotomuseum) at NAi
(now Het Nieuwe Instituut) in Rotterdam, 1993.
Five photographers were commissioned to interpret and exhibit their work on the theme of ‘reconstructions’, the environmental architecture from their youth.

PS Camera – Museum Hilversum

Group exhibition of contemporary photographers who have used vintage cameras of well-known colleagues to make new work. Museum Hilversum from October 22 – December 11, 2016.

I photographed with the Linhof Kardan Color 9×12 camera that my father, Marcel van der Vlugt Senior, used in the ’50s and early ’60s. With the last stock of 4×5″ Polaroid material, I made a collage of new still lifes.
